You feel tired and exhausted! Lazy about exercise! Excruciating pain after exercise! Not anymore.
A new study from the University of Colorado indicates that CBD can increase the enjoyment of the physical activity and help motivate to exercise. An overview of the research was published recently and the full results of the study will be published shortly in Frontiers in Public Health.
The results indicated that the majority (81.7%) of participants admitted to using CBD at the same time as their sport, and those who did so tended to be younger. Also, participants reported that CBD use increased weekly exercise and that it allowed them not only to enjoy training but also to improve their recovery after training.
In a context where few Americans do the minimum sports recommended, physical activity is a real public health issue. Common problems with low exercise rates include lack of fun and motivation to exercise, as well as poor recovery from exercise.
On the other hand, several studies have also shown that a motivational syndrome exists, in part among heavy users of CBD.
