Before the end of the summer, 50 cannabis distributors will install in the major cities in the Czech Republic. These new machines will offer a variety of products, from oils to potheads, rich in CBD.
In 2013, the Czech Republic legalized the medical use of cannabis. Two years later, the country also allowed the production of products based on cannabidiol (CBD) containing a maximum of 0.3% THC.
The new cannabis distributors will sell up to 3 grams of packaged cannabis for 28 Euros as well as other products such as CBD oil or even cannabis disinfectants. For the time being, only the base products are available,” explains René Siry, the project’s managing director.
“The company hopes to offer a wider range of CBD products with sedative, antioxidant, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory effects,” adds Siry. The products will only be available to people aged 18 or older.
The machines will first be installed in major cities such as Prague or Ostrava, and then in the rest of the country over time. “In the future, CBD dispensers will also be installed in gyms, hotels, or airports.
