The groups were recorded and facilitated by experienced co-facilitators who used a semi-structured interview guide to guide the discussion. Several aspects of their lives and feelings of well-being were addressed and assessed, as well as their use of cannabis to reduce symptoms that can be caused by cancer.

Participants reported that medical cannabinoids offer potential benefits for symptom management and relief of side effects, particularly in reducing and managing pain.

Despite the growing number of states that legalize medical cannabinoids. There are significant barriers that make adequate knowledge and access a challenge for many. If cannabis can help relieve cancer symptoms, then there is a need to improve this knowledge.
