After years of strict cannabis prohibition, Thailand legalized medical cannabis late last year. Now, the country is catching up and trying to take the lead in the global market. In addition to a high-speed regulation system and the seriousness, it puts into it, what could be better than an international conference to mark the occasion?
Sharing cannabis knowledge
The first World Ganja Festival will take place from 29 January to 2 February in Nakhon Phanom province. Moreover, the event is organized by the Researchers Association of Thailand with the cooperation of national and local governments.
The World Ganja Festival 2020 will serve as a platform for sharing knowledge on the medical uses of cannabis. So,it will include training seminars, information on technological innovations and opportunities for commercial negotiations. Also,a music festival and a product design competition will also be presented.
Festival organizers hope the event will help create new opportunities for Thailand, since the first country in the region to legalize cannabis for medical use. They also hope to contribute to a better understanding of cannabis and the legal issues related to its cultivation and use.
“We are the main host. Thailand is the main host. We decide who we will invite to the Ganja Festival,” said the Honorary Advisor of the Ganja World Festival, General Charan Kullawanit . Also,”There will be Chinese, Japanese and American guests. »
