- Low blood sugar – CBD has been shown to lower blood pressure – this can be hazardous for people who already have low blood pressure.
In addition to these side effects, CBD may cause adverse effects when taken with prescription medication, especially blood thinners (as CBD can act as a blood thinner itself). If you are on any other medication, it may be best to consult a doctor before trying CBD.
