Over the years, there have been many approaches comparing CBD to medication. This is why many scientists do experiments and studies to deny medications’ idealism and their superiority over CBD.

A recent study suggests that cannabidiol (CBD) may allow brain cells to more effectively assimilate certain drugs by helping them cross the blood-brain barrier (BBB). a complex challenge for the treatment of certain neurological diseases by preventing the passage of therapeutic molecules.   This is due to the blood-brain barrier. It is a tight network of blood vessels that filters the molecules in the blood to allow only those essential to the brain’s supply to pass through.  Several therapeutic molecules cannot cross it because of their composition. Their effectiveness is less and the risk of toxicity to the rest of the body is increased.  This is the case, for example, with G-Technology and Lipid nano-capsules. the study published in the journal Molecular Pharmaceutics, it brings together researchers from universities in Madrid and the United Kingdom who have developed nano-capsules “decorated” with CBD.  CBD was found to maximize the ability of molecules to cross the BBB: they would be 2.5 times more effective than nano-capsules without CBD and six times more effective than G-Technology.

The researchers believe that this is due to the endocannabinoid system, the brain is used to let endogenous cannabinoids filter out. Many other studies have confirmed that the use of CBD is safer and more beneficial than medical drugs
